Since its inception, the QSCAM (PIRS-FCG) has had more than 10,000 visitors, thus proving its great acceptance and interest amongst society for a kind of art that remains undervalued.  This collection demonstrates the variety of themes and thoughts of thousands of children who have made its creation possible; it is unique to the world for both the origin and quality of its works.

The collection has thus become an emblem of intercultural exchange – a meeting place for religions, traditions and languages.  It is a place in which to enjoy an innocent and artifice-free works of art that show their purity in the most diverse ways, but that nevertheless share their origins in children.

As a result of the Exhibitions and Conservation Department of The Museo Fundación Cristóbal Gabarrón, and of the initiative of the Direction of the QSCAM, the diffusion of this wonderful art by children became a goal.  Different projects that fit the needs of children, while satisfying the entire family, are constantly created.  The nature of QSCAM – the protection of children’s rights and constant fight for their well-being – provides the key to the genesis of these exhibitions, which strengthen familial ties a little through the enjoyment of art and the eagerness to create.

Within this exhibition program, which is thematically divided, is a collection of works under the title, "The Creative World of Children.” This exhibition is comprised of 175 works by children between the ages of 5 and 14 years old, all of whose works have been awarded in international competitions from 1973 to the present day, representing 52 countries that span five continents.

The starting point of this project is to create a path across international and national territory upon which the QSCAM can be shown. In addition, it provides support workshops for children and their families, and is differentiated by two parts: first, a didactic aspect, in which themes, such as the current situation of children all around the world, are addressed; second, a creative component, where children could experience the sensation of being creative for a day.

In these exhibitions, spontaneity, fantasy, and creative freedom becomes the nexus for children, as well as a window to a world free of prejudices where the values of liberty and tolerance prevail above all else.
